Jesicaa Singh, Founder and CEO of Stanley Communications, on Storytelling, Strategy, and Quiet Power

When you speak to Jesicaa Singh, Founder and CEO of Stanley Communications, it becomes clear that her journey has never been about chasing visibility for its own sake. It has always been about intention, timing, and understanding the deeper cultural context behind every brand story.

“My journey has been organic but intentional,” she says. What began as a focused public relations venture has evolved into a strategic communications partner for global and Indian brands alike. “Today, Stanley Communications helps brands tell stories with clarity, timing, and cultural relevance.”

Some of those stories have unfolded on an iconic scale. From launching Galeries Lafayette in India to bringing Vivienne Westwood to the Gateway of India, Jesicaa and her team have created moments that extend far beyond headlines. “What I’m most proud of isn’t just the scale,” she explains. “It’s creating moments that genuinely resonate.” Equally important to her has been building a women-led team that blends instinct with strategy. “It’s the people who make these stories possible.”

At the heart of her work lies a sharp understanding of what many brands struggle with. “There is a gap between visibility and understanding,” Jesicaa says. “In a market like India, success isn’t just about being seen. It’s about being understood in context.” Through Stanley Communications, she helps brands translate who they are into narratives that feel relevant, intentional, and enduring. “PR isn’t just amplification,” she adds. “It’s shaping perception thoughtfully. Done well, it builds trust, influence, and lasting impact.”

Looking back at the past year, one achievement stands out. “Leading Stanley Communications through a phase of scale while delivering some of our most high impact, culturally relevant launches has been my biggest win,” she shares. The Vivienne Westwood showcase at the Gateway of India remains a defining moment. “It was iconic for both the brand and India’s fashion scene.” On a more personal note, strengthening leadership within her team has been just as fulfilling. “Seeing the team take ownership and deliver with confidence felt like a real step forward.”

That growth required a shift in mindset. “Leadership isn’t about doing everything yourself,” Jesicaa reflects. “It’s about creating clarity, trust, and systems so others can perform at their best.” As the firm expanded, she stepped away from daily execution to focus on direction and positioning. “Once I did, the work became stronger, and I grew as a leader too.”

As 2026 approaches, her definition of power feels measured and self assured. “Power is clarity,” she says. “Knowing where to focus, what to say yes to, and what to let go.” In business, it means prioritising credibility and long term impact over quick wins. Personally, it is about trusting her instincts and backing her team. “Real power is quiet, strategic, and rooted in understanding your own value.”

Looking ahead, Jesicaa has set a bold intention. “I want to take Stanley beyond launches and become a true strategic partner that helps brands shape culture in India,” she says. From creating platforms and experiences to developing original intellectual property, the goal is to turn campaigns into long term narratives with meaning.

Her advice to women stepping into their next chapter is clear. “Choose clarity over perfection and courage over comfort,” she says. “Be unapologetic about your ambitions and take ownership of your story.”
